Notre Dame Federal Credit Union upgrades corporate headquarters

NOTRE DAME, IN (January 23, 2015) — Notre Dame Federal Credit Union’s (Notre Dame FCU) corporate headquarters and main campus branch is being remodeled. The original exterior, built in 1981, is being modernized with a glass and steel entryway and a new logo to enhance street visibility, appeal and member access. Construction started in December and should be complete by early March, if the weather cooperates. The building remains open during regular business hours during construction.

“We’re rejuvenating and modernizing our headquarters to keep pace with the changing demands of our members,” said Notre Dame Federal Credit Union President/CEO Tom Gryp. “Notre Dame Federal Credit Union has always been, and will continue to be, committed to serving the Notre Dame and Michiana community. This project illustrates our continued commitment to serving our campus members and our community as a whole.”

Gryp said this is another example of the credit union increasing its investment in products and services to aide its members. This corporate headquarters upgrade comes on the heels of a multi-million dollar system upgrade that was concluded in 2014.

Notre Dame FCU hired local South Bend companies MPA Architects and Ziolkowski Construction, Inc. to complete the project. The total cost of the project is approximately $250,000. Additional plans to upgrade and modernize the interior of the building will be announced in 2016.

Notre Dame FCU’s headquarters is located at 1828 Moreau Drive, Notre Dame, IN, and is independent of the University.
