Numerica Expands Home Loan Team in Tri-Cities & Spokane

Numerica Credit Union, headquartered in Spokane Valley, Wash., recently added six new home loan professionals to their home loan department in order to further expand their mortgage and home loan services in the Spokane and Tri-Cities, Wash. markets.

The first hire was that of Robert Helgesen as assistant vice president of the Home Loan Center. Helgesen brings 19 years of home lending experience in the Spokane and Tri-Cities areas to Numerica. He is a long-time Spokane resident and graduate of Rogers High School and Spokane Community College. He was previously employed by Bank of America.

Helgesen hired five additional home loan officers, creating a team of 10 qualified home loan experts and expanding quality home loan products and services into the Tri-Cities. Spokane members will also find it easier to contact a home loan expert now that new officers have been added. Meet the new home loan officers:

Adrian Smasne, Home Loan Officer – Tri-Cities

Smasne has over 12 years of experience in mortgage lending. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business, specializing in finance, from Washington State University (WSU) and is certified by the Washington State Housing Finance Commission. He was previously employed by Bank of America as a sales manager and mortgage loan officer.

Bill Bolton, Home Loan Officer – Spokane

Bolton has 11 years of experience in the banking industry. He graduated from Whitworth College as a business finance major with a minor in marketing. Bolton worked for Chase Bank for six years and most recently at Bank of America the past five years.

Grant Kuwada, Home Loan Officer – Spokane

Kuwada has eight years of experience in the banking industry. He graduated from WSU with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He was previously employed at Bank of America.

Rudy Duenas, Home Loan Officer – Spokane

Duenas has 17 years of experience in the banking industry. He graduated from Eastern Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in marketing. Duenas’ experience includes three and a half years with Spokane Teachers Credit Union and was most recently employed as the assistant vice president of mortgage lending at AmericanWest Bank.

Lorenzo Araujo, Home Loan Officer – Tri-Cities

Araujo has worked in mortgage lending for 14 years. He graduated from The University of Mexico with a two-year certificate in business and administration. He also received endorsements and certification in teaching methodology. Locally, the Columbia Basin College presented Araujo with a special recognition award. Araujo worked for Bank of America prior to joining Numerica’s home loan team.
