Ohio HealthCare Federal Credit Union’s Board of Directors has appointed Christy O’Connell as the President/CEO. O’Connell has been with the credit union for 14 years, serving most recently as the credit union’s COO and Executive Vice President.She is succeeding Bill Butler who has retired after 20 years of service.

O’Connell began her career with Ohio HealthCare FCU in 2004 as the CFO. She has been an integral part of the senior management team for fourteen years, helping the Credit Union grow from a $25 million financial institution to its current $83 million in assets.
O’Connell has more than 30 years of experience in the credit union industry, focusing on planning, organizational development, administrative management, and strategic partnerships. She has managed day-to-day operations for back office processing, member service, accounting departments, and loan departments.
