Ongoing Operations (OGO) announced today that Martin Breland, former President and CEO of Tower Federal Credit Union, has stepped down as Chairman of the Board due to his recent retirement from Tower, and Steve Salzer, SVP, Legal and Enterprise Risk of PSCU, is the incoming Chairman. As Breland stated, he is “proud that OGO has grown to serve over 120 credit unions throughout the United States in business continuity, outsourced cloud services, information security, and other IT services.”
Kirk Drake, CEO of OGO, thanked Breland for his years of service on the Board. “Martin masterfully guided us the last few years and was instrumental in getting Ongoing Operations on a solid growth track and financial position, culminating in an annual revenue growth run rate of more than 20% over the past year." Steve Salzer echoed Kirk’s comments, “The clients, investors and employees of OGO owe a debt of gratitude to Martin. Under his leadership, OGO has transformed from a business continuity CUSO to one offering a wide range of IT services." In 2016, Breland helped steer OGO into information security services, where the company now provides extensive security services to credit unions including Tower Federal Credit Union, Department of Labor Federal Credit Union, and NIH Federal Credit Union. Salzer continues, "OGO’s information security services have exploded this year, as practically every week a new credit union signs up for help from OGO to keep their network and members' information safe."
Under Breland's guidance, Drake and his team have re-established OGO as the go-to player for credit union business continuity, cloud services, telecommunications, and now, information security services. As the new Chairman, Salzer brings with him over 12 years of experience in the credit union industry. "The Board and I are very optimistic and excited about what the future holds for Ongoing Operations and look forward to working with Kirk and his team in delivering high-quality products and services to OGO clients.”
