Ongoing Operations elects Martin Breland of Tower Federal Credit Union as new Board Chair

HAGERSTOWN, MD (September 6, 2016) — Martin Breland, President/CEO of Tower Federal Credit Union ($2.9B, Laurel, Maryland), was recently elected Chair of the Ongoing Operations CUSO’s Board of Managers. Breland previously served as Vice Chair for Ongoing Operations and joined Tower FCU in 1988, becoming the credit union’s President/CEO in 1994.

“CUSOs like Ongoing Operations are a critical piece of the credit union industry,” said Martin Breland, CEO of Tower FCU and Ongoing Operations Board Chair. “I’m pleased to serve as the new Chair of our Board of Managers and look forward to helping guide the CUSO as we find new ways to collaborate and benefit more credit unions.”
The Board of Managers is comprised of nine representatives. These credit union industry leaders have decades of experience in managing both technology and business functions of organizations and each board member represents the interests of Ongoing Operations’ credit union owners and clients.
