OnPath Federal Credit Union announces its newly minted Employee of the Year Award and 2023 winner, Daphne Hernandez, Director of Digital Experience.

METAIRIE, LA (December 13, 2023) — OnPath Federal Credit Union President and CEO Jared Freeman announced Daphne Hernandez, Director of Digital Experience, as the winner of the inaugural Employee of the Year award at the company’s recent quarterly staff meeting.

“We launched this prestigious award as a way to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the staff and recognize the employee that has gone above and beyond to live our core values: Empathy, Passion, Innovation, Integrity, and Commitment,” said Freeman. “We had so many amazing employees that were nominated, it was a really close call, but Daphnee stood out in so many ways.  We’re thrilled to recognize her.”

Joining the OnPath team in 2020 as a Marketing Specialist, Mrs. Hernandez’s roll was quickly expanded to Digital Experience Manager where she played a critical role in the development and launch of the ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) systems and support team. Her dedication to the credit union members and the OnPath team, earned her another recent promotion to  the role of Director of Digital Experience. In addition to winning Employee of the Year for OnPath FCU, Daphne also was named Emerging Leader of the Year for 2023 at the Louisiana Credit Union League Convention in August, recognized in Biz New Orleans 2023 Women to Watch, and is a current member of the Leadership Jefferson Class of 2024.
