Orange County’s Credit Union welcomes Sebastien Carpentier as VP of Enterprise Infrastructure and Information Security

The Santa Ana-based Credit Union experiences exponential growth through its dedicated commitment to service

Orange County’s Credit Union, a Santa Ana-based financial services provider with more than 120,000 Members, is pleased to announce the appointment of information technology expert Sebastien Carpentier as Vice President of Enterprise Infrastructure and Information Security. In this role, Carpentier is responsible for managing the implementation and operation of the Credit Union’s technology infrastructure, including the information security program and technology teams encompassing network and systems infrastructure and end-user support functions.

“With more than 20 years of experience, Sebastien has a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative and transformative enterprise technology strategies,” said Interim CEO Lucy Ito. “We are thrilled to welcome Sebastian to our leadership team as we continue to innovate and implement leading edge IT strategies at Orange County’s Credit Union to enhance our solutions and processes for Associates and Members.”

In his prior role with City National Bank, Carpentier developed and implemented innovative hybrid cloud strategies, designing an efficient operating model based on automation and intelligent operations and establishing high-performing, resilient, and engaged teams in a high-change environment. He has also served as the acting Chief Information Security Officer at Epson America, where he created a new information security program. Carpentier holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Université de Haute-Alsace Mulhouse-Colmar and a master’s degree from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers.
