Oregon State Credit Union is proud to announce three key leadership appointments. Jim Gibson has been named Chief Operations Officer, building on his 19½ years of dedicated service at the credit union. Additionally, Michelle Anderson has been hired as Oregon State Credit Union’s first-ever Chief Lending Officer and Liz Martin will join the credit union as its first Chief Growth Officer.

Jim Gibson, formerly Senior Vice President of Branch Services, has directed operations across branches, the Contact Center, and Centralized Lending. His contributions include guiding the development of deposit and lending products, managing the Rewards Checking product, and leading the launch of the Oregon State Credit Union Insurance Agency.
In response to the promotion, Gibson says “It is an honor to be selected as the Chief Operations Officer, and I look forward to contributing to the growth of Oregon State Credit Union in serving our communities, members, and employees.”
Michelle Anderson comes to the credit union with over 30 years of financial services experience spanning mortgage and consumer lending, business lending, and member solutions at financial institutions such as Wells Fargo Bank, Patelco Credit Union, Chevron
Federal Credit Union, and Redwood Credit Union. Michelle has an effective track record of leading teams through digital transformation and leveraging financial analysis to drive success. Combined with a deep commitment to member and community engagement, she is poised to help shape the future of Oregon State Credit Union by fostering innovation and ensuring growth.
Anderson shares “I am delighted to have joined Oregon State Credit Union where our core values and our vision of creating financial solutions to make lives better are lived every day. As the new Chief Lending Officer, I am excited to continue expanding our history of serving our communities’ borrowing needs. By combining 70 years of lending knowledge with modern technology, we have an opportunity to create an exceptional lending experience.”
Liz Martin will lead initiatives to enhance member acquisition, brand awareness, community impact, product strategy, as well as organizational development. With over 20 years of expertise in marketing, branding, and community engagement, she brings a wealth of experience from roles at OnPoint Community Credit Union, Webtrends, and Janrain, as well as her marketing consultancy, Moonwater Consulting.
