Pacific Marine Credit Union appoints Todd Kern SVP/Chief Marketing Officer & Sarai Rodgers SVP/Chief Human Resources Officer
OCEANSIDE, CA (December 30, 2017) — Pacific Marine Credit Union’s (PMCU) President and CEO Bill Birnie appointed Todd Kern SVP/Chief Marketing Officer and Sarai Rodgers SVP/Chief Human Resources Officer of PMCU. These two additions have bolstered the executive team and positioned PMCU for strategic growth in 2018 and beyond.
Todd is a marketing and brand management veteran spanning the entertainment, sports, and finance industries. His creativity and ability to build brands has helped in reshaping and turning around several companies by focusing on the attention span of today’s plugged-in market and creating loyalty with Next Generation members. Todd’s background includes leadership positions at the executive level with several companies. Specifically, he has served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Elevations Credit Union, Vice President of Marketing at USA Fed, Director of Marketing at BMG Entertainment, and General Manager at PC Music. During his time at Elevations, the credit union grew from $750M to over $1.5B in assets and was the first credit union to win the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Todd received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities & Theater with a minor in Cinema-Television from the University of Southern California.
Sarai (pronounced Sara) brings a wide variety of experience and expertise to PMCU. Her background includes leadership positions at the executive level with several companies in a variety of industries. Specifically, she has served as the Human Resources Director at Netscape Communications, the Director of Organization Effectiveness at AOL Time Warner, the Vice President of Human Resources at Modern Post Card, the Director of Human Resources and member of the senior management team at West Development, and (for the past four years) as the Vice President of Talent Resources and member of the senior management team at ARS National Services, Inc..
Sarai earned an MS degree in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco and a BA degree in Public Relations from San Jose State University.
