The Partnership Federal Credit Union’s Director of People and Culture accepted into competitive SHRM Mentor HR® Program

ARLINGTON, VA (April 12, 2017) — The Partnership Federal Credit Union is proud to announce that Rebecca Coakley, Director of People and Culture, has been accepted into the competitive Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Mentor HR® Program: the Northern Virginia (NOVA) SHRM and Dulles SHRM Mentoring & Leadership Development Program.

As the Director of People and Culture at The Partnership FCU, Rebecca Coakley has developed an innovative approach to overcoming obstacles that a small organization faces when it comes to the recruitment and retention of high-performing talent. Through the SHRM Mentor HR® Program, Coakley will gain knowledge from senior expert mentors, peer mentors, group mentors and virtual mentors, bringing back valuable insight, fresh ideas and an enhanced leadership presence to her position at The Partnership FCU.

“We are extremely proud of Rebecca and her acceptance into the SHRM Mentor HR® Program,” said Theresa Mann, President/CEO of The Partnership FCU. “Her work over the years has helped create an organizational culture where both our employees and members experience value through partnership. This accomplishment is recognition of her hard work, and will help her grow in her career and provide more value to our employees and members.”

Rebecca is a graduate of George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and holds both the SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.

The Mentor HR® Program is a multiple award winning program, open annually to only fourteen highly motivated participants, with a mission of increasing opportunities for HR professionals’ career success through an innovative, multi-level, mentoring approach. Since 1999, approximately 300 people have graduated from the Mentor HR® Program. It has received national recognition through SHRM as an innovative program, and in 2003 the NOVA chapter received the coveted SHRM Pinnacle Award for Excellence.
