Patelco Credit Union receives two 2019 Diamond Awards for outstanding marketing, business development achievements
Patelco earned the awards within the direct mail and social media categories from the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council
PLEASANTON, CA (March 27, 2019) — Patelco Credit Union was recently honored with two Diamond Awards, which recognize outstanding marketing and business development achievements in the credit union industry, for the direct mail and social media categories, as selected by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Council, a national network comprised of over 1,300 credit union marketing and business development professionals.
Patelco won the direct mail award for its New Member Acquisition Direct Mail Program. The direct mail program targeted potential members, gaining 2,810 new members while significantly eclipsing industry benchmarks for costs-per-acquisition.
Patelco also earned the social media award for its Patelco Pet Calendar Facebook Activation. Patelco created a “Pets of Patelco” charity calendar consisting of the 12 most voted-for pet photos submitted by Patelco members through an online contest primarily promoted on Facebook. As part of the campaign, Patelco donated $5 for every pet photo submission online up to $2,000 for the Sonoma Humane Society in California.
