Patrick S. Jury Elected to Serve as Executive Committee Secretary for the World Council of Credit Unions

OTTAWA, CANADA (July, 31, 2013) — Patrick S. Jury, CEO of Iowa Credit Union League, was appointed by the Credit Union National Association to serve as one of their four representatives to the World Council of Credit Unions’ (WOCCU) Board of Directors. During the WOCCU annual conference, Jury was elected to serve on the organization’s Executive Committee as Secretary.

“It is an honor to serve on the World Council’s Executive Committee,” said Jury. “I believe strongly in the ability of credit unions to improve the financial lives of those they serve and the World Council serves an important role worldwide to help make this happen.”

Jury has served as the CEO/President of ICUL since 2006, and has worked at the organization for more than 20 years. Jury also serves as the CEO and board chairman of Affiliates Management Company. In this position, he provides governance oversight as the chairman of The Members Group, TMG Financial Services, PolicyWorks and Coopera. He represents the interests of Iowa credit unions as a board director of the World Council of Credit Unions and SHAZAM, Inc., the state’s EFT organization for financial institutions.
