Peach State Federal Credit Union increases annual pledge to Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation

Peach State Federal Credit Union will contribute an additional $2,000 to Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) Foundation scholarships and educational grants, increasing their annual pledge to $12,000 in honor of Louise Radloff’s retirement.

The pledge includes two $5,000 scholarships named for Louise Radloff, who will be retiring after serving 47 years on the GCPS Board of Education and GCPS Superintendent, J. Alvin Wilbanks. The Radloff scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from a GCPS school who has overcome a significant challenge to become a high school graduate. The Wilbanks scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from a GCPS school with plans to enter the teaching profession. The additional $2,000 will go directly to the Foundation for use as they see fit.

“We’re proud to honor Louise and Alvin, and support students through these scholarships,” said Peach State’s President/CEO, Marshall Boutwell. “Since our founding by Gwinnett educators nearly 60 years ago, we have maintained a close relationship with the school system and we are dedicated to supporting the growth and development of students and educators throughout our service area.”
