Pee Dee FCU Initiates Staff Wellness Program

Pee Dee Federal Credit Union, Pee Dee FCU, has launched a staff health and wellness program that began on August 2nd. “We value all of our staff, and we want to encourage their health and happiness through a fun competition” said Pee Dee FCU CEO Robin Williamson. “The main part of our health and wellness program is a biggest loser style contest among the staff” said Williamson. The health and wellness program outlined for the Pee Dee FCU team also encourages healthier eating and cutting back on sweets and sodas by eliminating candy dishes at work stations and cutting cigarette breaks to a minimum for staff. “We have also achieved 100% staff participation in the upcoming Heart Walk in Florence” Williamson said.
Fitness World in Florence has offered their facilities to the Pee Dee FCU staff three times per week for daily workouts to assist with the new health and wellness program.
