PENSACOLA, Fla., March 20, 2012— Pen Air Federal Credit Union has once again been recognized as a Superior 5-Star Rated Credit Union by BAUERFINANCIAL, Inc. This marks the 85th consecutive quarter that Pen Air FCU has received this distinction, putting the credit union in an even more elite group of “Sustained Superiority Institutions.” Only five percent of the nation’s financial institutions can claim this honor.
In order to earn this 5-star rating, the highest level of strength and performance that a credit union can receive, the credit union must report impressive capital levels as well as an enviable loan portfolio with negligible levels of delinquent loans.
“Pen Air FCU is one of the U.S. credit unions that evoke an image of a brighter banking future for its members,” President of BAUERFINANCIAL, Karen Dorway, said. “That’s good news regardless of your age and income bracket.”
BAUERFINANCIAL, INC., based in Coral Gables, Fla., is the nation’s leading independent bank and credit union rating and research firm.
