Pen Air Federal Credit Union presents Covenant Hospice with a check for $4,000.00

PENSACOLA, FL (December 10, 2015) — Pen Air Federal Credit Union presented the Covenant Hospice in Pensacola with a check for $4,000 from funds raised through Pen Air FCU employee Jeans Days and other fund raising efforts by Pen Air’s Charitable Events Committee.

The presentation was made at the Pen Air Federal Credit Union corporate office with staff gathered around to show support.  Covenant Hospice Senior Vice President/Chief Growth Officer, Ron Fried, and Development Manager, Angie Schlosser, were on hand to accept the check and give an overview of how the funds will be used to further efforts in patient care.

Mr. Fried commented, “On behalf of Covenant Hospice, I want to thank Pen Air Federal Credit Union and its staff for their generosity.  We can share many stories of how Covenant Hospice has touched the lives of families we all know, and we are able to continue our work because of the support we receive from organizations such as Pen Air Federal Credit Union.”

Covenant Hospice provides their patients with a wide-range of health and support services to meet a variety of unique needs.  Operating as an independent, unaffiliated organization, they have secured contractual agreements with multiple hospitals, nursing facilities, adult living facilities, and other organizations when living at home is not possible.

Pen Air FCU President/CEO, Stewart Ramsey explains, “Pen Air Federal Credit Union is proud to support the Covenant Hospice.  Each year, our internal Charitable Events Committee sends out a survey to staff asking for their input on local charities to support and the Covenant Hospice has been a top charity of choice.”
