PenAir’s 2024 scholarship applications now open for high school seniors

PENSACOLA, FLA (February 1, 2024)PenAir Credit Union is pleased to announce its 2024 PenAir Scholarship Program, inviting local graduating high school seniors to apply. Applications will be accepted through March 24.

“We understand the importance of investing in our community’s next generation,” said Lee Morgan, PenAir President and CEO. “By offering these post-secondary education scholarships, we are helping local high school graduates achieve their dreams and become equipped to go out into the community and make an impact.”

The PenAir Scholarship Program is designed to identify and support individuals who exemplify a true spirit for Communerosity® – a PenAir guiding principle fusing community and generosity. Scholarship money made be used toward an associate degree, undergraduate degree, or a trade certification.

Applicants for the 2024 program must meet the following criteria:

  •   Be a local graduating high school senior
  •   Be a primary member of PenAir Credit Union
  •   Have been accepted into an accredited college, university,
    community college, or technical school as a full-time student
    for each qualifying semester

Recipients of the PenAir Scholarship are eligible to receive up to $10,000 over a four-year period, depending on the degree pursued. The funding will be applied toward the Fall and Spring semesters only, and the scholarship amount will be paid directly to the educational institution by PenAir.
