PenFed announces site purchase and expansion in the Dallas region
Nation’s second-largest federal credit union to expand and create mortgage servicing jobs in the Dallas region
SAN ANTONIO, VA (April 5, 2019) — PenFed Credit Union today announced its expansion into the Dallas Region and the purchase of a site located at 4875 Preston Rd., Frisco, Texas for its new mortgage servicing center. PenFed’s expansion into the region will create approximately 30 new jobs.

PenFed has leased office space in two Plano buildings for the last several years and purchased the 50,000-square-foot Frisco site with 9,500 square feet of office space allowing for a permanent location. The PenFed mortgage servicing team will move to the new Frisco building, while the PenFed mortgage operations team will relocate to the recently purchased San Antonio Regional Financial Service Center. PenFed is providing all relocating employees with relocation compensation and time-off to complete the move.

PenFed recently expanded its Texas footprint by purchasing and opening its San Antonio Regional Financial Service Center that will create over 500 new jobs including management positions in research, mortgage and loan operations, financial service center operations, collections, information technology and human resources.
