PenFed Credit Union, the nation's second-largest federal credit union, today announced its internal creative team was selected for two awards from the 2022 Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) American Inhouse Design Awards competition. With over 7,000 entries, PenFed was among the top 400 selected as winners. This is the second year in a row PenFed’s internal creative team was honored by GDUSA.

GDUSA’s American Inhouse Design Awards™ is the original and premier showcase for outstanding work by inhouse creatives and their departments. The 59th anniversary showcase of roughly 400 projects reflects the many and varied ways in which inhouse designers advance the mission of and build value for their companies, institutions, brands, products, services, and causes.
PenFed’s winning designs, “2021 Night of Heroes Gala” and “10 Tips to Help You Qualify For A Credit Card Animation” will be displayed in the 59th Anniversary Graphic Design USA Awards in print, online, digital, and mobile.
The 2021 Night of Heroes Gala raised over $1.7 million for the PenFed Foundation at the event held October 2021. The “10 Tips to Help You Qualify For A Credit Card Animation” provided an educational overview of credit and how one can prepare and qualify for the best credit card fit to their needs and financial goals.
