HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA) is pleased to announce its partnership with AdvantEDGE Financial Services™, LLC of Wyomissing, PA, which has been selected as one of the association’s preferred business partners. AdvantEDGE, a credit union service organization and subsidiary of Utilities Employees Credit Union (UECU), serves credit unions across Pennsylvania and the nation with a variety of solutions.
“As the state trade association representing credit unions in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, our goal is to help credit unions thrive,” says PCUA President/CEO Jim McCormack. “Through our service corporation, PCUA is able to partner with businesses that offer products and services to enhance the ability of credit unions to serve their members. I am pleased that we have added AdvantEDGE to our stable of offerings,” said McCormack. “We’ve had a long relationship with UECU, so this partnership is a natural fit as credit union cooperatives.”
“AdvantEDGE’s consulting services are provided through the staff at Utilities Employees Credit Union, recognized as one of the strongest institutions in the country,” says UECU President/CEO Glen A. Yeager. “We’re thrilled to partner with the Association and are eager to help other credit unions enhance both their performance and their operations.”
AdvantEDGE provides cost-effective solutions and offers its credit union clients an independent perspective for creating new business approaches. AdvantEDGE specializes in serving credit union needs in areas like asset recovery strategy, compliance with financial regulations, investment portfolio consultation, and information technology specific to the credit union industry. Its staff represents a diversity of expertise areas within financial services and supporting industries.
Mary Ann George, AdvantEDGE manager, looks forward to the opportunity to inform more Pennsylvania credit unions of how the CUSO can improve credit union profitability and success at serving their members.
“I really like all of the PCUA employees I’ve met to date, and believe they have a good pulse on what’s going on with the credit unions they work with,” says George. “When they identify a credit union that wants to improve its performance, or perhaps fulfill an examiner’s request, PCUA will be able to contact AdvantEDGE for a solution.”
AdvantEDGE also provides consulting services and custom solutions for credit unions that would like to improve their daily operations in areas such as consumer and real estate lending, internal finance, asset recovery, and investments.
