People’s Credit Union donates to United Way with employee bake sale and participates in employee wellness fair
MIDDLETOWN, RI (November 4, 2015) — People’s Credit Union held a Bake Sale in their Middletown Branch Lobby on Friday, October 30th to benefit the United Way. Employees donated baked goods for members and other employees of the Credit Union to purchase and enjoy all while supporting the United Way. The proceeds from the Bake Sale and a “candy guessing game” totaled approximately $608.
Along with the Bake Sale, employees enjoyed a free Wellness Fair. Various vendors such as, United Way, Visiting Nurse Services, Eat-To-Live Nutrition, Kelleher Corbett Group, RI Blue Cross Blue Shield, RI Department of Health, Gloria Gemma Cancer Society and Coastline EAP, were on site to provide helpful wellness information and answer any questions. Approximately 55 employees attended the Fair.
