People’s Credit Union holds free wellness fair at Bristol location

MIDDLETOWN, RI (November 10, 2015) — On Saturday, November 7th, People’s Credit Union was pleased to offer their members and the community a free, education wellness fair. Vendors on site included the Gloria Gemma Hope Bus, a Shred Fast Shred Truck and BoldrDash Race obstacle course.

The Hope Bus is the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation’s mobile Wellness and Resource Center. It delivers their programs, services and resources across Rhode Island and into Massachusetts. Its primary mission is to raise health awareness, encourage threefold screening and provide education resources about breast cancer.

Free shredding was also available. People’s Credit Union members and the community were welcome to dispose of their personal, household documents safely and securely.

BoldrDash Race was on site as well to provide education on their upcoming race events. BoldrDash is an organization committed to providing obstacle courses with scalable levels so they are challenging, yet achievable for everyone. BoldrDash obstacle races also help charities raise money.

People’s Credit Union offered healthy snacks, water and information on preventing identity theft to visitors of the Wellness Fair.
