People’s Credit Union supports ‘Light Up the Nights’ campaign for Portsmouth Little League

MIDDLETOWN, RI (February 2, 2024) — People’s Credit Union donates $750 to support a light installation for the Portsmouth Little League’s Sherman Field on East Main Road. The lights will enable many of the 340 participants in Portsmouth Little League and their families to enjoy the games well past sundown in the coming seasons.

“Little League is such a memorable experience for children growing up and Portsmouth does a great job involving as many kids and their families as possible. People’s Credit Union is happy to support the field lights campaign so everyone can have extended playing time during the league’s seasons,” stated Courtney Hunter, Head of Community Development for People’s Credit Union.

2024 Portsmouth Little League registration is open until March 15th for all Minors, Majors, and Senior players. Registration will end on March 31st for T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Machine Pitch, and Player Development Softball.
