Philadelphia, PA, November 17, 2010 –The employees of the Philadelphia Federal Credit Union’s Service Center located at 12800 Townsend Road in Northeast Philadelphia compiled a Thanksgiving basket for a family in need through the Northern Home for Children. Each employee selected an item from the list and made individual purchases. The basket contained Thanksgiving dinner staples, including a gift card for a turkey, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce and place settings. Patricia Thompson, the branch manager, made the delivery to the Northern Home for Children, who will then distribute all baskets collected to local families.
