Philadelphia Federal Credit Union Supports Multiple Sclerosis Society’s City to Shore Ride

Philadelphia, PA, September 29, 2011- Philadelphia Federal Credit Union sponsored a team of cyclists in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s 2011 City to Shore Ride. Six cyclists participated in the race on Saturday, September 24, 2011.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s annual fundraiser, which attracts over 7000 cyclists of all ages, includes several route options. Team PFCU fund-raised over $2500, surpassing the $300 minimum per individual to participate.    

The National MS Society uses the funds raised through Bike MS to fuel medical research and provide more services than any other organization in the world. Funds that are raised help the National MS Society support vital medical research and local programs for the 13,000 area residents in the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter area.
