Nominate a Veteran to be one of the Parade Grand Marshals
GLENDALE, AZ (September 12, 2014) –- Do you know a Veteran you would like to honor? Now is a great time to show your appreciation by nominating a Veteran to be one of seven Parade Grand Marshals for the Phoenix Veterans Day Parade. This year marked the 70th anniversary of the Normandy Invasion and to show appreciation to our aging Veterans the parade theme is “Duty, Honor, Sacrifice: Celebrating Our World War II Veterans.” News Talk 92.3 KTAR Radio is hosting the “Honor Our Heroes” campaign for the nomination of the Grand Marshals. Credit Union West, a sponsor for the campaign, wants to help get the word out. “It’s important for us to hear about these wonderful Veterans who committed themselves to the service of our country.
