Photos with Santa becomes a magical night for American Heritage Credit Union
PHILADELPHIA, PA (December 14, 2017) — American Heritage Credit Union opened their doors of their Community Room on December 8, 2017 for a fundraising event for an evening with Santa Claus. Employees and members were invited to bring their families and pets to take pictures with the big man, and were able to purchase the pictures. All proceeds were donated to the credit union’s Adopt-A-Family Program, which helps needy families and family oriented charity services in our membership area give a good holiday to those in need.
The event brought out over 60 families and resulted in an overall donation of $1,507. American Heritage understands the inconvenience of shopping mall Santa experiences and are excited to provide an alternate way for their members to create family memories, all while supporting a great cause.
“It really was a magical night. The kids were in amazement to see Santa, the parents were thrilled because they weren’t waiting in long lines at the mall, and our volunteer staff — they were just great,” said Flora Caranci, SVP of Human Resources at American Heritage. “I am so happy to report that we raised over $1,500 from this event to benefit our Adopt-A-Family Program.”
