Photos with Santa becomes a “magical night” for American Heritage Federal Credit Union
PHILADELPHIA, PA (December 11, 2015) — American Heritage Federal Credit Union kicked off their DNC/CHOP Garden fundraising season with an evening with Santa Claus. Attendees took pictures with the big man, and were able to purchase the pictures. All proceeds were donated to the CUNA and Association-supported Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Health & Wellness Garden in honor of the Democratic National Convention.
“It really was a magical night. The kids were in amazement to see Santa, the parents were thrilled because they weren’t waiting in long lines at the mall, and our volunteer staff — they were just great,” said Flora Caranci, SVP of Human Resources at American Heritage FCU. “I am so happy to report that we raised over $1,000 from this event to benefit the CHOP Garden.”
All credit unions are asked to support this worthy cause by considering a year end contribution. Please contact Christina Mihalik at 800-932-0661, ext. 5282, for more information. Credit union involvement in this project will provide a much needed resource for CHOP patients and the community.
