COLDWATER, MI (October 14, 2014) -- Powered By Honor is proud to support the Branch County Coalition for Domestic Violence with a $4,650 donation and sponsorship of the month of October. By sponsoring the month of October, which is also Domestic Violence Awareness month, Powered By Honor is covering the Coalition’s cost to keep their doors open to anyone in need for the entire month.
With a mission to provide emergency response and supportive services to victims of violence and to advocate for changes that will break the cycle of violence, the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence manages the Naomi Davis Shelterhoue, Laura’s Place, and Altrusa Teen Share, amongst many other community programs and initiatives. The combination of these three resources allow the Coalition to provide emergency shelter for those fleeing domestic violence, income based housing for domestic violence survivors, and a shelter for homeless teenagers. Donations like Powered By Honor’s support the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence in providing these valuable resources to the Branch County community.
