PrimeWay Invests $6,000 in Houston’s Youth

HoustonPrimeWay is proud to give back to the communities we serve, especially when it comes to helping people further their education. Each year PrimeWay Federal Credit Union awards scholarships to deserving students in hopes of helping them to achieve their dreams.

After reviewing over 100 applications, PrimeWay recently awarded this year’s scholarships to four deserving students.

2012 Scholarship Recipients:

Peter Lin – Dale Roberts Scholarship – $2,500
After graduating from Bellaire High School, Peter will be attending the University of Texas in Austin. Peter volunteers his time at the Children’s Museum of Houston, the Bellaire City Library, the Taiwanese Heritage Society of Houston, and many other organizations.   

Christine Pham – PrimeWay MyFunds Scholarship – $1,500
Christine will be graduating from Pasadena Memorial High School and plans to attend the University of St. Thomas in the fall. Christine has volunteered at several organizations in addition and volunteers at her church and high school.

Kim Dinh – Houston Community Scholarship – $1,000  
Kim will be graduating from Elsik High School and attending the University of Texas in Austin in the Fall. In addition to participating in numerous school sponsored clubs, Kim is also active in her community.

Kendall Rosato – Houston Community Scholarship – $1,000
This fall Kendall will attend the University of Notre Dame. While attending Tomball High School, Kendall served as an officer for the National Honor Society and member of the Science National Honor Society. Kendall is also highly active in her church and not only plays the trumpet for her church, but for the school band as well.
