PSCU adds payments industry veterans to management team

Phil Davis and Brian Scott join the CUSO in service delivery and vendor alliance roles

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (January 19, 2016)PSCU, the nation’s leading credit union service organization, has added payments industry veterans Phil Davis and Brian Scott to its senior leadership team, the company announced today. Davis will fill the role of Senior Vice President of Service Delivery; Scott was named the Senior Vice President of Vendor Alliance Partnerships for the CUSO.

Phil Davis leads the teams at PSCU that serve credit unions and their staff members on a daily basis; he is responsible for executing the Owner Experience strategy that addresses operational service requests across all of the company’s lines of business. Davis’ extensive career in the financial services industry has leveraged innovative technology and best business practices to improve the credit union member experience and overall satisfaction. Over the past seven years, Davis served in numerous leadership positions at Vantiv, a company that includes the former Fifth Third Processing Solutions and TNB Card Services. In his most recent role at Vantiv as SVP, Director of Operations, Davis was responsible for strategic direction and direct oversight of the company’s Operations Group that provides servicing to 1,500 client credit unions and banks, as well as their members and customers. During his tenure at Vantiv, Davis held the position of SVP of Operations for TNB Card Services serving over 600 credit union clients. Prior to Vantiv, Davis worked at Citibank, NCO and Bank of America. Davis has a B.A. in Management Economics from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia.

Brian Scott heads up PSCU’s strategy to help its Owner credit unions benefit from the CUSO’s business partnerships; ensure PSCU’s Owners leverage opportunities with Visa and MasterCard to deepen relationships with their members; and develop additional new relationships that create value for Owners. Scott comes to PSCU with over 22 years of experience serving credit unions, most recently as the VP of Sales for The Members Group (TMG), where he led the sales team and helped develop and execute a growth strategy to expand into the Canadian credit union market. Scott also owned responsibility for managing the company’s largest client accounts, and was instrumental in developing data analytics and reporting capabilities. Scott presents regularly at industry seminars and board meetings on the future direction of the payments industry. His application of analytics and data, coupled with a rich knowledge of payment products and technologies, helps credit unions optimize business performance. Scott is a graduate of Drake University in Iowa with a double major in Finance and Accounting.
