PSECU plans to open PSECU Financial Center in State College, Pennsylvania

HARRISBURG, PA (December 8, 2014) -- Greg Smith, President and CEO, announced today that PSECU will open an

innovative Financial Center in State College, Pennsylvania located at 502 East College Avenue.

Members will be provided with in-person support to ensure they take advantage of PSECU’s free financial literacy programs, free checking, surcharge-free ATMs, free online and mobile banking, free Bill Payer service, and more. (Wireless Internet devices and/or connectivity costs are not provided by PSECU.)

Commenting on the reason for this location, Smith states, “We are excited to provide our members in the State College community with even more resources to achieve their personal and financial goals. We feel privileged to be part of our members’ lives and are always looking for new ways to provide even more service to them. In this instance, we felt it was important to create a physical presence in the community to show our commitment and appreciation.”

The construction will be completed by local contractors, further promoting PSECU’s commitment to stimulating the local economy and providing resources to the community. The PSECU Financial Center Grand Opening is anticipated for March 2015.

Opened in 1934, PSECU was founded by 22 ordinary people who made an extraordinary commitment to each other: To create a financial institution where pooled resources benefit all members. Today, we are a full-service credit union serving more than 425,000 members and have over $4 billion in assets. As a not-for-profit financial institution, our goal remains to help our members and their families achieve a better life.
