PSECU to sponsor Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run
HARRISBURG, PA (April 20, 2017) — PSECU is proud to be a Bronze Sponsor for the 2017 Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run. The event, which is a fundraiser for Special Olympics Pennsylvania, will be held on Sunday, April 23rd at Penn State’s University Park campus.
The Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run, which is entering its eighth year, offers participants the options of a 5K run or a 2-mile family fun walk. According to Special Olympics Pennsylvania, more than 3,000 individuals of all ages and ability levels will take part in the event. The finish line for both the run and the walk is located at the 50-yard line inside Beaver Stadium.
The Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run is the culmination of Blue/White Weekend at Penn State, which includes the annual intra-squad Blue/White football game on Saturday, April 22nd.
