PSECU sponsors 11th annual Pink Zone at Penn State women’s basketball game

HARRISBURG, PA (February 27, 2017) — PSECU was proud to sponsor the Pink Zone at Penn State women’s basketball game on February 26th. This annual event focuses on, and raises funds to support, promotion of Breast Cancer awareness and empowerment of survivors. Funds raised support six organizations that provide education on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Breast Cancer. These organizations include Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, PA Breast Cancer Coalition, Kay Yow Cancer Fund, J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, and Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. 2017 marked the 11th year of the event and was PSECU’s second year as a sponsor. More than 500 breast cancer survivors who were in attendance were honored at halftime of this year’s game. Fundraising efforts for the cause are ongoing, and the total amount raised will be announced by Pennsylvania Pink Zone in the spring.
