HARRISBURG, PA (January 29, 2015) -- On January 5, 2015 PSECU opened its 17th on-campus location at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in Lancaster, PA. PSECU’s location is housed on the second floor of the Multipurpose Activity Center (MAC). This location will provide PSECU assistance to students, faculty and staff at Thaddeus Stevens who are eligible for membership in the credit union. Membership allows Thaddeus Stevens students, faculty and staff access to PSECU’s competitive rates, products, and services, such as free checking, free ATMs, and free credit score service. (PSECU is not a credit reporting agency. Members must have PSECU checking or a PSECU loan to be eligible for this service. Joint Owners are not eligible.)
In addition to membership eligibility, PSECU will engage with the Thaddeus Stevens community through internship opportunities for students, financial education workshops, and promotions such as Random Acts of Freeness. PSECU’s paid on-campus internship opportunities will be available to Thaddeus Stevens students who are interested in gaining real-world experience in areas such as marketing and business operations. Financial education workshops will be available for students, faculty and staff who are interested in learning more about various areas of financial management. Additionally, PSECU will provide the college with a $3,000 sponsorship annually to help support their student emergency fund.
To complement the on-campus location, PSECU now has a full-service ATM housed on the first floor of the MAC, as well as a withdrawal only ATM located on Thaddeus Stevens’ nearby branch campus.
