WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (July 29, 2014) -- On the morning of July 28, Purdue Federal Credit Union (Purdue Federal) presented a $3,224 check to YWCA Greater Lafayette for its Domestic Violence Intervention and Prevention Program.
The funds were raised during Purdue Federal’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day silent auction. Purdue Federal employees and local organizations donated 117 auction items, and employees’ winning bids brought in $3,224. All proceeds from this year’s auction benefit the YWCA Greater Lafayette’s Domestic Violence Intervention and Prevention Program.
Purdue Federal would like to thank the following organizations for donating items for this year’s auction: Parthenon, Wolf’s Fine Chocolates, Noble Roman’s Take and Bake, Urban Swirl, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Robb Restyle, Pet Supplies Plus, Einstein Brothers Bagles, University Book Store, Home Suites at the Crossing, Wings Etc., Wild Bird Shoppe, Buccaneer Bay and The Pink Walrus.
