DOVER, DE (December 21, 2015) — The generosity of those within the local community along with employees of Dover Federal Credit Union was evidenced, as they united together to spread cheer and brighten the holiday spirits of less fortunate children through the Toys for Tots toy drive. The annual program, facilitated by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes them to children in the community.
Donation boxes were available at all Dover Federal locations for members and employees to donate a toy to the cause. In addition, Dover Federal Credit Union made an additional monetary contribution of $990 raised through their employee jeans day matching funds program.
Dover Federal Credit Union was first chartered in 1958 by a handful of Air Force and civilian workers are Dover Air Force Base.
