Rachel Bond promoted to Community Relations Director with Greater Texas Credit Union

AUSTIN, TX (April 18, 2019) — Rachel Bond, Sr. Business Development Officer for Greater Texas Credit Union, was promoted on April 1, 2019, to Community Relations Director. Rachel started at Greater Texas in December of 2006 and has since expanded the credit union’s community outreach and engagement to include financial presentations, mentoring, volunteerism, advocacy, and beyond. During her time as part of the credit union’s 3-person marketing team, she has helped the credit union grow with the addition of 5 underserved area expansions, 8 branch openings and 2 mergers of credit unions into the Greater Texas family. Now with an expanded team of 5 in marketing, 19 branch locations and over $650 Million in assets, Greater Texas Credit Union looks forward to expanding its reach and service even more, across the great state of Texas it serves.

When asked to share why she loves working for the credit union, Rachel Bond said “Helping people has always been a call I’ve felt passionate about.
