Raiz contributes to economic revitalization in Downtown/Uptown El Paso

Stanton branch grand opening/ribbon cutting ceremony

EL PASO, TX (January 31, 2024) — A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 to celebrate the grand opening of Raiz Federal Credit Union’s Stanton Branch, located at 300 Montana Ave. The event marked a significant moment for the credit union, providing accessible financial services, and establishing new roots as a contributor to the growth and prosperity of the Downtown/Uptown El Paso area.

As part of the grand opening celebration, Raiz honored its heritage deeply rooted in education with a $1,500 donation to the EPISD Education Foundation. Founded in 1994, the non-profit organization is dedicated to enhancing the quality of education within the El Paso Independent School District. “Investing in education is an investment in the future, and we believe in the transformative power it holds for individuals and the community at large,” added Raiz VP of Marketing, Alejandro Yu.

The modern-designed Stanton branch is a modest-sized building that adds to the uniquely personalized banking experience that Raiz Federal Credit Union has to offer. Here, members can easily manage their finances with enhanced self-service (ESS) ATMs located inside and at the two drive-up lanes, or sit down with a financial expert for guidance and assistance. A unique highlight of the branch is the custom mural and portraits and murals of El Paso’s vibrant culture created by local artists Christin Apodaca, Tino Ortega, Patrick Gabaldon, and Jorge Salgado, which brings the branch to life.

Following the grand opening ceremony, guests were welcomed into the branch to experience its innovative digital services and connect with branch staff. The Stanton branch is now open and ready to serve the community with an array of financial products and services, including financial education. For more information about Raiz Federal Credit Union, visit www.raiz.us.
