Redwood Credit Union hires Lori Burleson as employee engagement manager

Burleson responsible for events and communications that support employees

Redwood Credit Union (RCU) has hired Lori Burleson as its employee engagement manager. In her new role, Burleson is responsible for developing and facilitating events and communication plans that support employee engagement. By staying attuned to employee sentiment and goals, she’ll work to influence programs that empower employees, instill a sense of appreciation, and remove barriers so they can perform meaningful and interesting work.

Prior to joining RCU, Burleson worked for Legacy Marketing Group for 23 years as Human Resources Manager, responsible for HR strategy development and delivery. She also worked to refine the total employee experience, from effective recruiting strategies, to meaningful compensation and benefits packages, and fun and engaging employee events.

“Lori has a great deal of experience facilitating a work environment that’s fun and congenial,” says William Thorn, Human Resources Manager at RCU. “With her leadership, we’ll continue to evolve our employee programs to help our people succeed on the job and in their communities.”

“I’m passionate about helping people grow, develop, and find personal fulfillment in the work they do,” says Burleson. “People who are enthusiastic about their work make great colleagues and ambassadors to our members and the communities we live in!”

Burleson has a Bachelor of Science degree in organizational behavior from the University of San Francisco and a Human Resources Management certificate from Sonoma State University.
