Redwood Credit Union offers earthquake assistance programs
Special Loans Available to Napa Area Residents Affected by Earthquake
NAPA, CA (August 27, 2013) — Redwood Credit Union (RCU) is offering special assistance to residents in the Napa area who have been affected financially by the recent earthquake, including an interest-free earthquake relief loan of up to $5,000 for 12 months to help with unexpected expenses resulting from Sunday’s earthquake. Other types of loans are also available to assist local residents and businesses with earthquake-related financial issues.
“When natural disasters occur, many people find themselves burdened by unexpected expenses that can cause financial distress,” said Brett Martinez, President & CEO of Redwood Credit Union. “We are offering assistance through these loans to give local earthquake victims peace of mind so they can resume their normal lives as they recover from this unfortunate event. We’re here to help.”

In addition to special funding programs, Redwood Credit Union is accepting monetary donations at all 17 of their branch locations and through their call center at 1 (800) 479-7928 for American Red Cross earthquake relief.
RCU’s Napa branch, located at 1705 First Street, near the downtown area, experienced no reported damage and is open to serve the community.
