Santa Rosa, CA – A group of volunteers from Redwood Credit Union (RCU) recently participated in the 12th Annual Chili Cook-Off in downtown Ukiah benefiting the Boys and Girls Club. This year’s chili was prepared by RCU employee-volunteers and was well-received by event-goers. RCU chose a 1950s theme for their booth – since the Credit Union has been serving its communities since 1950 – and unveiled their “secret recipe” at the event, which includes helpings of service, value, and trust.

“Redwood Credit Union is committed to our communities, and proud to be a sponsor of the Annual Chili Cook-Off to support the Boys and Girls Club, for the 11th year in a row,” said Susan McMenomey, Manager of the Credit Union’s Ukiah Branch.

In addition to the Annual Chili Cook-Off, Redwood Credit Union sponsors and volunteers at numerous other community events and fundraisers throughout the year, including United Way’s Day of Caring, Human Race, National Make-a-Difference Day and more!
