Redwood Credit Union (RCU) welcomes Kristen Mahlmann as senior vice president of accounting and finance. In her new role as part of the senior leadership team, Mahlmann will oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, and will lead the accounting and finance operations teams.
Prior to joining RCU, Mahlmann was at Kinecta Federal Credit Union in southern California for more than nine years, serving most recently as vice president and controller. She has also held management positions at Palm Desert National Bank, Generations Credit Union, and America’s Credit Union.
“Kristen brings extensive accounting and credit-union-specific knowledge to RCU, which helps support our growth and member-focused strategies,” said Ron Felder, RCU’s chief financial and risk officer. “She’s an excellent addition to the team.”
Before relocating to Sonoma County from Southern California, Mahlmann participated in the Leadership Manhattan Beach program and led a community service project to equip the Manhattan Beach Police Department with needed supplies. She’s looking forward to getting similarly involved in the North Bay.
