RCU Bowls for Big Dollars Fundraising for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Bay
Santa Rosa, CA – Several teams of employees from Redwood Credit Union (RCU) recently participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” at Double Decker Lanes in Rohnert Park, CA. Nearly 90 volunteers from RCU, including employees, family and friends, bowled to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of the North Bay, a mentoring program that creates a positive impact on children of low-income and/or single-family households.
In addition to volunteer support and the Credit Union’s corporate sponsorship, RCU staff collected monetary pledges and donations for the nonprofit, bringing RCU’s collective contributions to more than $7,500.
RCU demonstrates their commitment to the communities they serve in a variety of ways through volunteerism, fundraising and donations, sponsorship, leadership on non-profit boards, free financial literacy programs and more. Each year, RCU supports numerous local non-profits including the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County, Tomorrow’s Leaders Today, the American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, United Way and others.
