Reliant Credit Union promotes two team members
SODUS, NY (January 5, 2024) — Reliant Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of two members of the organization’s member services team. Reliant strives to offer interesting and rewarding work for all employees, and takes pride in helping to foster employee growth and development.
Christina Kariuk has been promoted to the role of Branch Manager at Reliant’s Webster branch. In her new role, Ms. Kariuk oversees the growth and development of member relationships within the branch community, while managing branch operations, staff development, and interactions with local businesses and community organizations.
Ms. Kariuk joined the credit union in 2020 and has held the roles of Teller, Member Service Representative, and Assistant Branch Manager for the Sodus branch. She is currently on the board for the Sodus Chamber of Commerce. She lives in Wolcott and enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, and spending time outdoors with her two dogs.
“Reliant values its employees and acknowledges hard work, which makes coming to work every day feel like a privilege, not a task,” said Ms. Kariuk. “I am passionate about teaching and coaching others to develop their product knowledge, service, sales ability, and interpersonal skills. I find it very gratifying helping my coworkers learn, grow and achieve their goals.”
Abby Nicholson has been promoted to the role of Assistant Branch Manager at the Sodus branch. In her new position, she will assist in the organizing, planning, and direction of the branch. Ms. Nicholson will work with her branch manager to identify opportunities to support the community and work with area businesses.
Joining the credit union in March 2023, Ms. Nicholson recently held the position of Branch Supervisor at the Geneva branch. She resides in Seneca Falls with her husband, and in her spare time, Ms. Nicholson enjoys camping, playing with her dogs, and attending NASCAR races.
