Reminder to register for September 30 How the IRS VITA Program Can Serve Your Community webinar

There is still time to register for the National Credit Union Administration’s September 30 webinar on the IRS VITA Program, which partners with credit unions and other organizations to offer free tax preparation to qualified consumers.

Online registration for this webinarHow the IRS VITA Program Can Serve Your Community, is open to the public. Credit unions, their members, and consumers at large are welcome to participate. The webinar is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Eastern and is expected to run one hour.

With speakers from NCUA’s Office of Consumer Financial Protection, the IRS VITA Program, and a credit union that successfully partnered with the program to serve its members, attendees will learn how to integrate VITA programs into their credit unions, engage their members and communities, and review data on the program’s success within credit unions.

Participants will be able to log into the webinar and view it on their computers or mobile devices using the registration link. They should allow pop-ups from this website. This webinar will be closed captioned and archived online approximately one week following the live event.

Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance by emailing WebinarQuestions@ncua.gov. The email’s subject line should read, “IRS VITA Program.” Please email technical questions about accessing the webinar to either uccwebinar@ncua.gov or uccsupport@ncua.gov.
