REV Federal Credit Union collects food donations across the Carolinas, supporting local organizations this November

Wilmington, NC (December 11, 2025) |

REV Federal Credit Union continued its commitment to uplifting local communities throughout the month of November by hosting food drives across its branch network in the Carolinas. As part of REV’s ongoing #UpTheGood Foundation initiative, branches encouraged members to donate non-perishable food items to support families facing food insecurity.

In Wilmington, REV’s local branch focused specifically on collecting cereal boxes and other non-perishable staples to benefit NourishNC, a nonprofit dedicated to providing nutritious food to children in need throughout New Hanover County. Members stepped up generously, filling donation bins with essential food items throughout the month.

In addition to member donations, the impact was amplified through a $500 donation from the #UpTheGood Foundation Powered By REV.  This financial donation helps to ensure that local children have the nourishment they need to thrive both in school and in life.

Dori Bishara, Community Engagement Coordinator for REV Federal Credit Union, personally delivered the collected items and donation to NourishNC. “REV is committed to strengthening the communities we serve,” said Bishara. “We are grateful for our members’ generosity and proud to support NourishNC’s incredible work to ensure kids have consistent access to healthy food.”

This is not the first time that REV has partnered with NourishNC as REV team members have volunteered for onsite food packing, making 250 snack packs at REV Day for Good in 2024, donating concert tickets for their annual fundraiser, and promoting NourishNC during the 2025 REV Rocks Concert Season at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater.
