Donovan to support Point Breeze Credit Union’s recent expansion into Owings Mills and Westminster Communities
HUNT VALLEY, MD (October 18, 2017) — October X, 2017 – Point Breeze Credit Union has hired Rick Donovan, a well-established business development professional from Sparks, Md., to focus on developing and expanding the credit union’s company partnerships. Donovan has dedicated over 30 years to helping companies both large and small expand their businesses. Most recently, he spent 8 years as the business development manager for Enoch Office.
“Business development, in its simplest form, is helping people achieve their unique goals, which is what motivates me each and every day,” said Donovan. “Point Breeze is very customer-oriented and believes in the idea that a prosperous community benefits all — a message that I am proud to stand behind.”
Donovan’s priority to serve others is apparent not only through his professional work, but also through his active membership in the community. He works with a myriad of charities and programs including Best Buddies Maryland, Helping Up Mission and Music 4 More. Donovan serves as a committee member for Best Buddies Maryland’s Annual Fundraiser Gala and on the Hunt Valley Business Forum’s Golf Classic committee. He is a former president of The Sales Promotion Association of Baltimore and The Friday Morning Platinum Business Network International (BNI) Group.
Point Breeze recently expanded with the addition of offices in Owings Mills and Westminster, which will be Donovan’s main areas of focus for developing business partnerships.
“With Point Breeze continuing to expand, Rick joins us at an ideal time. He has built strong relationships across multiple industries and brings a distinguished portfolio in the business development arena,” said Bernie McLaughlin, president and CEO of Point Breeze Credit Union. “Rick’s proven track record and his passion for customer service make him a valued addition to the Point Breeze team.”
