Royal Credit Union (Royal) announces Carrie Diedrich as new Vice President (VP) of Compliance and Corporate Risk. In this position, Diedrich is responsible for setting Royal’s strategy for compliance and risk programs. This involves ensuring appropriate resources are allocated to Royal’s Enterprise Risk Management program, Compliance Management program, Bank Secrecy Act program, Enterprise Disaster Recovery program, Business Continuity Management program, Security program and Vendor Management programs. Diedrich is also responsible for ensuring that these programs are consistent with the size and complexity of Royal.
Diedrich began working at Royal in June 2020 as a Senior Compliance-Risk Management Specialist and was promoted to Corporate Risk Manager in July 2022. Diedrich is also a member of the Risk Committee, Vendor Review Committee and Cybersecurity Committee. In addition, Diedrich is a Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager and a Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert.
In her new position, Diedrich is looking forward to helping Royal achieve its strategic endeavors by ensuring it has the resources to stay compliant and mitigate risk through evolutionary and robust compliance and risk programs.
Diedrich lives in Eau Claire with her husband, Zach, and her daughter, Leighton.
