Starting in 2019, the RCU Foundation will review grant proposals two times a year.
The Foundation focuses on large-scale, capital projects in the areas of education, arts, and health. Such projects can include new buildings or remodels and equipment. Applications received by March 1 will be reviewed in April and decision notification by June; those received by September 1 will be reviewed by October and decisions made by December.
“The new review cycle will allow us to better prioritize requests,” said John Sackett, President, RCU Foundation. “Our goal is to support as many community projects as possible, while considering best alignment with the Foundation’s purpose and limited resources.”
The RCU Foundation’s core purpose is to create a positive impact in the communities served by Royal Credit Union. To learn more about the Foundation or to apply for funding, visit rcu.org.
